YX SUMMER CAMP IS MORE THAN A CAMP  IT'S LIFE-CHANGING 

YX Summer Camp is for rising 8th graders through graduated seniors. Each year, 130+ students from all three Hope Church campuses gather for an incredible week of fun, connection, and life change.

 

Say yes this year and join your peers as we watch what God does in the hearts of the next generation.

WORSHIP

Hope Church’s mission is to lead people into God’s life-giving presence, starting with worship. Students will experience powerful worship as we seek to encounter Him.

TEACHING

Each session is led by our pastors and teachers, who are passionate about guiding students in God’s Word and helping them grow in a lifelong walk with Jesus.

FUN

Students will spend the week competing on teams in fun group games, taking part in a variety of group activities, and enjoying daily free time to relax and connect with friends.

CONNECTION

Students will spend time forming meaningful, lasting friendships through group activities and by encouraging one another as they grow in their walk with the Lord.

A WEEK  DISCONNECTED 

Our device policy at YX Summer Camp 2026 is that students will only use their device (phones, tablets, gaming devices, smart watches, etc) during designated times. Outside of the designated times, devices will be collected and stored in secured locations.

 

A campus staff member will have emergency contact information for all students, and parents will also be given a direct contact for campus staff, ensuring students can be reached if needed outside of designated times.

 

The purpose of this policy is to help students stay fully engaged in the camp experience and to remove technology distractions. By limiting screen time, we want students to be present, build meaningful connections, and fully experience everything God has for them during summer camp.

I first went to camp in 2023 before joining youth group, so returning in 2025 felt really nostalgic. Even though I had friends, making new connections was a big part of camp, reminding me how important community is and how friendships built in faith can last a lifetime.

 

Being away from everyday life helped me focus on Jesus, and His presence felt especially strong throughout the week. Before camp, I struggled with anger and temptation, but afterward I felt a real shift in my mindset and a desire to grow and lead others to God. That experience led me to pursue baptism, and I’m so grateful for everyone who made camp meaningful. I’m already excited for 2026!
